“ Best soul food in Hampden County. Maybe even Western Mass!! The food is consistently yummy no matter what day of the week or time of the day. They also cater and prices are extremely reasonable for the portions. Ive had them cater several of my events. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. If you havent tried them out... Do it now!!! Not related or paid to write this. ”
“ My husband and I drove from NY to visit our son Springfield college. Each time we attend one of his games we google places in the area to eat, and boy, were we ecstatic with our decision this time. Everything we ordered Fried chicken, Whitings, Mac n cheese, candied yams, collard greens, potato salad was absolutely delicious. Both my husband and son are both picky eaters, but they were speechless. Everything we ate was seasoned to perfection. The portions were big, none of us finished our plates, we enjoyed the leftovers on the ride back to NY. service was great, took 30 minutes to get our food but it was worth it. For 3pm on a Saturday, I wasnt surprised. The restaurant was clean, and staff was friendly. If we lived closer, we would have probably gone back to today! But definitely will be back soon!!!!! ”

The fried chicken was so well seasoned and tender, and the gravy had me scraping the plate for more. Im definitely going in person next time, and time and time again. I need a whole pan of just the cornbread and a vat of that gravy lol. ”

“ Loved my visit with my husband and toddler. The food was delicious and I loved the interior. The remodel work is beautiful and not necessarily toddler friendly but my child loved the food and had no issues sitting on a regular chair at a lower table. It was perfect for Sunday lunch but I wish I lived closer so my husband and I could come for date night because the vibe says date night. Little place, big atmosphere. Server was extremely polite and kind. Its not a sitdown meal with plates and cutlery but the take out containers made it easier for us to bring our ample leftovers home thats pretty typical for sould food serving style. My son loved the rice, yams and chicken. My husband raved about the pork chops and greens. I loved the macaroni and cheese. It was all delightful. Tasted like Grandmas heart and soul was in each plate! ”
